This New Kid Cudi single – Pursuit of happiness ft. Ratatat is straight fire, and the album is one of the best compilations of great music that I have heard in a long time. It took me back to the College Drop Out Album that Kanye West had put out some years ago, as a classic from the heart. I recommend everyone to at least take a listen to this album "Man on the Moon, The End of Day" And let the soul of Kid Cudi's lyrics flow through your mind.

I can't believe it? The Fray covered a Kanye West song entitled "Heartless" and it is bloody amazing the way he took this song and gave a whole new touch on a future classic. I hope Kanye heard this and felt like the star he is. Kudos to the Fray!

A witness to History

On this day January 20, 2009 we all got to witness one of the most significant pieces of American history that will defiantly be remembered for times to come. I don't even have the words to describe how excited I am about what the upcoming years have in store for all of us, but it has been a good ride with all of you that voted and kept hope alive.

If I can recall one highlight of this election it would have been when Jesse, Eric, and I went down to Scottsdale Arizona in the midst of McCain territory and rocked are Obama t-shirts in the heat of all the criticism given to us all day it feels good to know that the right man got his seat in the White House.

If you are any fan of art you have to appreciate this limited edition piece by David Flores. This print is called "Night Mission" and their were only 25 paper made for us to fight over worldwide. I saw this print and was immediately drawn into the vision this artist had putting it together.

The Spirit

I actually thought The Spirit was a very good adaptation by frank miller that brought this graphic novel to life by keeping in some of the crafty dialogue that kept us so entertained while reading it. The Spirit did not do well at the box office opening weekend, but don't let that discourage you from watching a flick that is quite entertaining to watch on the big screen.

I recently got to see a live action demo of one of the most innovated creations that I have ever witnessed through out my entire life. I was truly amazed on how technology is evolving right before our eyes. This robot is a truly an "Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility" or better known as ASIMO.
Asimo was developed by "Honda America Corp" and is one of the first fully funtional robots that can actually walk and talk with programed mind of it's own. I was bit skeptical at first, but when you see this robot right in front of you; it can be a bit overwelming, but I was definatly amazed by what this robot can do. Asimo retails for about $100,000,000 dollars and is worth every penny if i had it.

I recently purchased one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time, and recommend at least a rental.
Control is some what of a bio pic that captures one of the greatest bands of our generation" Joy Division". This film also follows the life of lead singer "Ian Smith" who was struck with epilepsy that caused a gray cloud on his life. Research has lead to this situation being the reason"Ian Smith" may of taken his life, at such a young age. Joy Division, was most known for their hit single "Love will tear us apart".

I just saw this very limited piece by Nooka on the Kidrobot site with a Kidrobot design and I just want to add this to my Christmas list. There was only 175 put out into production and it retails for $175.00 dollars. How ironic is that? And I know it looks a little hard to tell time but this watch is solely for style...

I just previewed Kanye West's new album 808's and Heart Break via Myspace and boy has Mr. West done it again. This album stray's off from his previous releases, but this is what makes this artist so versatile with all the experiments and risks he is willing to take. This album consists of 12 tracks that does not street until November 24th 2008. I have already pre-ordered this album via itunes and can't wait to upload it to my ipod. The music industry is back and filled with many talented artists who put their heart and soul into these albums, so please support the arts and buy the album......

I just got back from "The Sounds" concert that was held at the newly remolded Palladium, and I must say that this concert was awesome.... It all started with some pre-party drinking at the Wamu parking lot with a few sips of our good old friend Patron....That ended with a few Jager shots of dancing to one of the best bands to come out of Sweden.... If you have not downloaded their latest album? I strongly suggest you do! And listen to some of the best lyrics, and riffs that just keep the heart pumping....

I have a new found respect for "Malcolm X" when my English teacher Professor Banks had us do a paper on one of the most influential Negro Americans of this century. I really never understood all the details and hardships "Malcolm X" had to go through until now, and I have the up most deepest respect for this man who self taught his education, and never gave up on his belief of spreading the truth about the nation of Islam even if it meant death. I am happy to say that times have changed when we have elected our first Negro American president to the White House "Barock Obama". A change is going to come, and I'm happy to be a part of it.

Kanye West music video that was inspired by a the classic film "American Pop" this was hand drawn by 65 animators out of Honk Kong. I can't wait for the album to hit my iTunes, but at least we have another single to hold us off for now.

Gears Of War 2

The long awaited sequel will finally hit retails stores as of Midnight tomorrow night. Gears of War 2 is based on the high volume action packed game released by Epic in early 2006 to the Xbox 360 that had consumers wanting more after the game sold over 2 million units with it's overall co-op game play and violence that had teens, and even some older adults staying in front of their T.V.'s over the holiday season that pushed Xbox 360's consoles into your home. Once again Epic has released a teaser trailer using visual drama of a true soldiers emotion. Gears of War 2 is slated to break records amongst this struggling economic season, but I think every gamer will ponder a few dollars to get their hands on one of this years biggest holiday titles slated for 11.7.08
